Due to recent events, most digital employees are now Working From Anywhere (WFA). WFA increases productivity, but severely challenges IT to maintain security and governance while providing remote access to critical data and key (or all!) applications. Multiplying the challenge, all these new remote, distributed WFA users expect “as-local” performance, full corporate IT access and easy security measures on any device, in any location on any network, from anywhere they want.
As the WFA trend has rapidly exploded across organizations everywhere and is likely to become the new baseline for digital workers, we recently surveyed over 200 IT practitioners to discover their biggest WFA challenges, wish lists and recommendations. While some of the security self-assessments have truly frightening implications, the IT-sourced findings in this report offer insightful tactical and strategic IT guidance for addressing WFA challenges at scale.
